Diyarbakır Airport (DIY) is a small regional airport in southeastern Turkey serving the historic city of Diyarbakır. Most flights are domestic, connecting passengers to major Turkish cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir, though there are also (mostly seasonal) services to Germany, primarily catering to the large Turkish diaspora. The airport’s compact layout makes it easy to navigate, with a single terminal handling both domestic and (limited) international operations.
