About Cukurova International Airport
Officially opened on August 10, 2024, Mersin Çukurova International Airport (COV) is becoming a vital travel hub for southern Turkey. Serving the Çukurova region, including major cities like Mersin, Adana, and Osmaniye, the airport was developed to replace the capacity-constrained Adana Şakirpaşan Airport. It boasts a modern design with an initial annual passenger capacity of 9 million, connecting this important industrial and agricultural area to domestic and international destinations.
