Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM), commonly known as Mumbai Airport, is the primary international airport serving Mumbai and is one of the busiest airports in India. Named after the 17th-century Maratha warrior king Shivaji, the airport spans across the suburbs of Santacruz and Sahar Village in Vile Parle East.
Terminal 1: Located in Santacruz, exclusively serves domestic flights, primarily catering to low-cost carriers.
Terminal 2: Located in Sahar, handles both international flights and domestic flights. This sprawling, modern terminal features multiple levels with extensive passenger facilities.
